Hey, I’m Avita, Founder of Advanced Brand Communications, and I’m SO glad you’re here!
I’m 26 years old and living in Santa Monica, California. I've always loved the PR and digital landscape. Before becoming a Publicist and digital agency owner, I previously worked for another agency where I quickly (like insanely quickly) rose through the ranks to become the Director of Digital Marketing. It happened so fast, agencies rapidly grow and change, and I had to roll with the punches. Because of this, I took educating myself on the ins and outs of PR and digital marketing very seriously. On and off the clock, I was teaching myself all things digital in order to be the best director I could be. I was handling both the actual work for the clients as well as handling the growth of the agency to generate new clients - basically marketing our agency online as well. I had to be really solid on what I was doing and couldn't waste any money, effort, or time. While it was incredibly stressful, it was a pivotal period of my life. I learned what it means to become an expert in something, and because I worked with so many businesses, both big and small, I learned how to work with people to provide their businesses with what they truly need.
After some time, I took everything I learned and decided to take matters into my own hands by working for myself. I took the leap of faith and trusted myself, and I must say it was the best decision I ever made. That’s why I know how sensitive business owners can be when it comes to marketing themselves. I know what it’s like to take that leap of faith in yourself and make your business basically an extension of yourself. I know how scary it can be to put yourself and your business out there and how every single decision must be calculated with love and care. Starting your own small business is no easy feat and I hope to support small business owners in making the best decisions for marketing their businesses. There is so much information out there, it can be incredibly overwhelming to decide what to do and how to do it. There are also so many agencies prying on new and vulnerable small business owners but charging them a fortune each month. I help business owners get rid of that overwhelm with effective PR and marketing strategies crafted with the greatest care possible.

I graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and a Minor in Theater (clearly I love living by the beach and being dramatic af!)
My greatest strengths are listening and empathy. My consistent goal is to make sure the people around me feel heard, seen, understood, and validated
I have a French Bulldog named Luna and she’s the best menace there is
I love to travel and the next country I plan to visit is Italy
I grew up doing musical theater and I still put on performances in the car and shower
I’m left-handed and my zodiac sign is Gemini (Don’t you dare call me two-faced, we’re ADAPTABLE, okay?)
